Small summary of my first 2 classes

So far in my class I have been exploring the software “Unreal” and how the game engine actually works. As I have started my course late I had to learn few things, i.e. making a blueprint for the game in a short span of time. I have been exploring the functionality of the software and getting use to with it’s design making skills.

I have also had the chance to make 3D model of a cactus for my demo game that I had created in my first class. It was a challenging task for me because I was having a bit of difficulties in understanding the different keys and tools that the software had to design the 3D model, and I kept on forgetting what each individual tools did.

I will be elaborating more in my other posts to explain where I had faced challenges and where I need to hone in more to over come those challenges, also how I would like to experiment more with the “Unreal” and the “3D” software’s.

This will be achieved by posting screen shots of my game and 3D modelling, photos of my notes and video uploads (perhaps through YouTube), to begin with.
