While trying to figure out how to have the camera fixed on a 90 degree angle and that the camera would follow the character in a fixed position on a 2D mode, I some how had the character float in mid air and run around. the video demonstrates this weird phenomenon. It was only later when I asked a student and my tutor on why this is happening and I was told that the character is not sitting in its capsule and that it is out of it hence the default character is floating in mid air.
Saying that I could probably use this effect in future project, where I have a hover car racing down a race course and maybe I could achieve that by having the base character out of the capsule, so it would float.
