Texturing

Untitled2Untitled3

The texturing of this card was made by using a scrunched up image of a white paper that I had found on google and then it was transferred in photoshop where I used 2 tools, one was the burn tool and the other was the smudge tool, where I would darken some areas to give a look where the card would have got burnt a little bit and keeping the central area white-ish to show that the card has lost its colours. I did the same this with the design of the diamond and the number 3. I also found an old painting of my own work I did in the past, so I incorporated that into the card as a texture. It looks like some sort of a jewel where only the riches would have this kind of deck.Untitled-1

This Cornish inspired painting that I had painted some time a go was incorporated in the making of my card. I liked the idea of creating a card where the back of it would not look like the most common looking cards do.
