On this post Sam has shown for the desert scene he had to include an extra component and that was a bumpy landscape. He then attached the sand dunes layers to give that paper look, the landscape gives extra depth and distance, also to make the character to move smoothly around the scene.
Without the landscape the game play looked like the character is running across the scenes and instead of going smoothly around each layers. Di-spite doing this landscape me and Sam have both felt that the scene sill has a glitch where the character would be standing in between the layer and not actually standing behind the sand dunes. This is a glitch that we he has been trying to fix it and the only thing he could to is to raise the humps of the landscape and love the sand dune layers a bit down so the character would not sit between the layer.
