The three edited scenes that I had developed on Photoshop on Ue4. I will be discussing if the scenes have worked the way I’d imagined and what could have been better.

during production of the cave scene the layers are broken down to three segments, you have the front layer that the character walks left to right, vice versa. The mid-ground is the rocky frame and then the background where the light is emitting from the top. To me the scene has worked out just the way I wanted. The whole ambient of the dark illustrated cave is portrayed excellently. The gamer would have a real good experience of being in this land. The design looks a lot better then on Photoshop because, the use of light from the top and also darkening the light within the cave to give a dark, illusive design.

Now I am pleased the way the design looks but, I am not getting the really dusk time look where the sky would be dimming down as it gets closer to night, that’s something we could have played with light just like for the cave or used few spot lights so the back of the scene would illuminate orange light to give the gamer the gesture of the sun going down.
I have also noticed that the design is not completely lined up and that there is a faint white lining in the last dune which it in the far distance, on the plain. The reason for this is because while making the landscape for this scene and having issues with lining the layers there was a glitch where the character would look like its hovering above the scene so to make it look more natural the layers needed to be cut into few more segments to some what over come this glitch.
Overall the scene looks great but, I think in the future getting extra help from our tutor and teaching us the next step to enhance our skills I and Sam should over come this difficulty.

Final Scene, the Pyramid. Visually the scene is great. There is no background light used to get that golden glow in the pyramid, that’s all been done on Photoshop. What i can see is the faintest line in the back ground scene where it looks like the sky is overlapping or it looks like a crease. Now I like it as a image because, it looks like that there is an actual paper crease and giving more character to the paper look however, when the gamer would be playing the game it looks like there is a crack in the screen. The reason for this is because that while layering the pyramid the back ground was spit into 2 and it has overlapped and due to that it looks like there is a crease.
Again the lack of skills has made this project difficult and that something we would need to work on or I should say I need to work on.
I will speak more about this in another blog where I will post an OBS capture of the game.
