We uploaded the image on to Aftereffects to animate the vinyl and what we did is spun the disc around quater way for ever 2 seconds per frame, for 8 seconds I think, which then gave the illusion of the the vinyl spinning around

This was a simple process that every 2 seconds we used the rotation tool to turn the vinyl around, so it would be animated.

 

We also tried to animate it on Photoshop, but it didn’t work and i believe that was because of the time line that Photoshop as, and it didn’t line up with the way we were trying to animate it, we didn’t figure out why that was happening and we thought because we have limited time we should animate this on Aftereffects.

Later we exported the file as a GIF to use it in Ue4 for the mobile phone, however the Ue4 software was unable to recognize the GIF and then Sam had to turn it into a sprite animation. Please see his blog on how he had created the sprite animation on Ue4.
