Getting inspiration for my hand design.

The next stage was to design a robotic hand/ arm for the AI gallery. Now for this design I thought about how people are reacting to the idea of AI and how it is developing at a speed, now I don’t know the exact speed, but I could say that in the last 10 years it has advanced vastly. So in my head I got the idea of “God” and “God” created the world in a time frame, thus I looked at Michelangelo’s painting “The Creation of Adam”. I thought this would be a perfect resource to design a hand or 2 two show how an old AI hand created a new AI hand which is slender and updated looking, and that would give AI the pedestal of “God”.

During my research of how AI technology is advancing my tutor suggested that i should look at Bjork’s music video, what looks like 2 female AI intelligent are falling in “love”. This concept of how AI technology can advance and have feeling is a mind boggling concept, especially the time it was created, year 2003. Bjork is an amazing artist who is able to think outside the box and able to think of the possibility of what AI might progress into, and I think she is inspired by what humans go through and how they have developed and she is using the concept in her video.
