Mood Board, Insects.

Insects were the other subject matter to work with because you do see a lot concept designs that influenced by insects for games or movies.

In my mind I see these little critters as robotic intelligence that would be used as weapons or be a weapon in a game or movie.

Devil May Cry franchise has many enemies that are inspired by insects you can see this in the images below.

You can see how the characters are clearly inspired by insects and turned into these hybrid, demonic creatures that run the earths floor. It’s amazing, how you can learn the forms of insects and turned them in to imaginative monsters for a game.
