To being my journey in learning the arts of concept art was to follow Feng Zhu’s advice and make quick mood boards of natural forms, starting with rocks.

I have chosen these secondary images from Google. The reason Feng Zhu says to work with natural form is because you can adapt the image as you draw and get bit creative of how you would draw the subject. Also if you make a mistake you can keep it because it does not have to bee an exact study of the image. The reason for doing such quick drawn is for the learner to understand the form and shapes that can be later manipulated into something else, for me I see spaceships in these rock formation.
