Undhiyu is a staple food in Gujarat and this is something you cannot get anywhere in India. It is a dish that is made out potatoes, aubergines, plantains, different types of runner beans, peas and other green beans that are only grown in Gujarat. This a very simple drawing however, I am not really a fan of the bowl and I will change the plate that the cuisine is placed in. Again I need to think about the composition a bit more and change the look of the drawing so there is a consistency in my work.

Gujarati daal: Now i very much like how I have managed to draw the daal out, however I am having a trouble liking the bowl and i might have to think about how to draw these bowls.

Deep fried pastry which is stuffed with peas and runner beans or some type of lentils. I tried to keep this drawing as simple as possible, so I decided to pick out some of the air pockets that had burst in the pastry and the creasing of the dough. When I finished drawing…… well the drawing reminded my of brains or some kind of alien eggs. Nonetheless I do love this drawing and it will go into my animation production.

Daal Dhokli is another staple food that you will only find it in Gujarat. its a daal dish that has these flat diamond shaped pasta and you would pour a generous amount of ghee to it and eat it. I think this drawing works really well with its composition and the style that I wanted to achieve. I feel like I am progressing further with my drawings.
