Editing the stuffed chilly pepper was a pretty simple task, which required 3 steps of layering.

The first step was to break the image down into 3 parts. To do this I copied the original image 2 times. the first image was edited by rubbing out the chilly peppers so you see the slate. This slate will be animated.

After rubbing out the chilly peppers I copied the slate layer and coloured the empty area up and to do this I used the colour correct tool and a brush tool to colour in the empty space so that when I animate it does not look like if the image has been cut out, also I drew in the outlines where it would’ve been missing after rubbing the chilly peppers out.

For the final layer I just rubbed out the slate and kept the chilies on there own.
