After getting our first model of the contemporary gallery room done, we had a play day where the class went around playing everyone’s project and answering their question on survey monkey. Here are our result for our questions and I have picked out the top 3 answers that I thought answered the questions appropriately.

I have been advised to add texture and detail to the sculpture, so that is my responsibility to figure out what texture and what the screen of the phone will look like. I also agree that we need text to explain what the work is about and how it ties in with the theme of the Luddites. I have also been given an artist to look at and how they create these retro 70’s posters with the current technology being advertised.

 

 

There has been a positive response to the 3D model of the phones and how the scale dominates the room. I have been recommended by my tutor that maybe think about the materials that was used to make the phones in the 70’s and switch it over to the modern day mobile phone, and vice versa.

 

 

Fore this question we got mixed results where few people liked the seamless tiles where others thought not to have seamless tiles and to show how the floor divides with the marble flooring. We decided to keep it seamless so that viewer doesn’t get distracted by the floors and its glare, but concentrates on the art work.
