Using the blending mode technique learned in our Photoshop session, I have created these four images of an IPhone and a cord phone attached together. It’s a stayer to show how two different technology from two different era would look like if they were merged. It is also to show how technology has been progressing and how something as a phone has turned to an important piece in our life. It’s also to show how us as humans are being consumed by this mass production of tech.

These merging of two different tech is a form of collage work that I will be creating more for our group work and then be displayed in the gallery space that will be created on Ue4.

 

The idea of collage work came from an artist that did a show, at the Nottingham Contemporary Gallery Titled: House of Fame, artist: Linder Sterling. Her work dates back from the 70s and how that era, before era and coming time would be misogynistic towards women. I will go more in detail about her work on the next post.
